Description:
The program aims to facilitate and encourage the timely and effective integration of third-country nationals into the construction sector labor market, through comprehensive training to enhance their language skills in the workplace and networking with employers who will actively participate in the In2C actions.
The project activities include awareness-raising actions, identification of best practices, market needs, and obstacles in the construction sector, training programs (improvement of specialized language skills, workplace obligations, national and European policies, etc.), and meetings between employers and potential employees. Within the framework of the program, 400 third-country nationals, 400 employers, and 200 other stakeholders (educators, NGOs, etc.) are expected to be activated.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Within the framework of the European program In2C – Integration of Third-Country Nationals in the Construction sector, the Municipality of Larissa, the Technical Chamber of Greece, and “DIMITRA” Educational Consulting S.A. will organize a training program (100 hours) for third-country nationals who wish to work in the construction sector. The training covers regulations for health and safety at work, as well as language skills for this specific sector. The training will be conducted digitally and includes 85 hours of asynchronous and 15 hours of synchronous instruction. The training material is available, among others, in Arabic, and synchronous instruction will be supported by interpretation in Arabic and is expected to take place during July.

At the end of the training, participants will undergo a knowledge test to receive a certificate recognized in all EU countries.

Also, those participants who successfully complete the training program will have the opportunity to register on a platform with available employment opportunities in the construction sector in Greece.
